Ahh Google. If it’s not solitaire or Pacman in our browser, then it’s a metronome or another tool we need but don’t know it. This time it’s an RGB colour picker you can find by doing a search.

The search result shows a full colour palette when you search for things like ‘colour picker‘ or even a more technical search like ‘rgb to hex‘. The colour picker then shows a colour gradient with a slider to pick through various colours and on the left you get the RGB and HEX code for the colour for use wherever you want. You can even drop down for more colour values including CMYK, HSV(Hue, Saturation, Value) or HSL(Hue, Saturation, Lightness).

The tool works on both mobile and desktop, so if you’re needing to find out the value of a colour this is a pretty neat tool.

I was excited for a second, I thought it was telling you to color of a pixel from the camera as I have an app installed for that 🙂
