As Google Pay promotions go this is a strange one, Google Pay and KFC have teamed up on a competition giving you the chance to win a $50,000 Gold Plated Bucket of Chicken — or technically a $20,000 Gold Plated Bucket and $30,000 in cash or one of 3 Google Pixel 3 as a runners up.
To enter you have to use the KFC mobile app to order a minimum of $5 of chicken (or any KFC products) and pay using Google Pay via the app. For each qualifying transaction you then need to go to the KFC competition page and register the transaction. You can enter up to 5 times but only once per transaction, the competition runs from 4/12/18 up until 11:59pm (AEDT) on 20/12/2018.
I have to admit I’ll be ordering KFC about 5 times more than usual this month just to try out the in app purchase experience using Google Pay if not for the chance to win the other golden benefits. If you’re interested in participating grab the app below, set up Google Pay and go order some KFC!

oh man, I just got KFC last night used Google pay but at drive through because the app was logged out and it was too hard to do password recovery before I got there.
