If you’re on a prepaid mobile then you know that the offerings regularly change, bringing a value to the users. Optus has evaluated the ways that prepaid plans are used and given users the option for 1, 7, 14 or 30 day use.

As is the case with pretty much all mobile plans in the current market, you’ll have unlimited access to national talk and text. Another very attractive option is to top up before expiry and rollover up to 200GB of data.

The base cost works out to $1 per day for the service, with option to purchase international calls to a variety of destinations. The costs for international calls vary depending on which length of time you take.

  • 1 day is $0.50
  • 7 days is $1.00
  • 14 days is $3.00
  • 30 days is $5.00

All of the options and add-ons can be controlled and changed via the My Optus app making this a pretty sold choice for consumers whose needs change on a regular basis.

What do you need from a prepaid service to make it a good option for you?

I recently bought Catch Connect 1yr prepaid with 120Gb data for $99 (student discount + Suncorp voucher). Catch Connect brand being owned by Optus gives me the same features as Optus prepaid for a *fraction* of the cost.
