Telstra have sent out an email this morning stating that the HTC Desire is available for purchase online or through specific [T]Life stores.
As a surprise we are excited to let you know that you can be one of the first in Australia to purchase the HTC Desire online and in selected Telstra shops from today.

Telstra then stated in the email that the Desire will be available for $0 on $85 New Ultimate plan:
- Up to 350 national voice call minutes (charged in 30 second blocks)¹
- 350 standard national SMS
- 150MB data
- plus an additional included value of $65 per month to spend on eligible calls, SMS and more¹
- All for $85 per month over 24 months (minimum cost $2040)
