Today Acer launched 5 new Android Smartphones to the Aussie Market, those being:
- Acer Liquid E – 728MHz CPU, 3.5″ Capacitive Display, Android 2.1, 5MP Camera
- Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edt – 728MHz CPU, 3.5″ Capacitive Display, Android 2.1, 5MP Camera
- Acer beTouch E130 – 416MHz CPU, 2.6″ Display, Android 1.6, 3.2MP Camera
- Acer beTouch E120 – 416MHz CPU, 2.8″ Display, Android 1.6, 3.2MP Camera
- Acer Stream – 1GHz CPU, 3.7″ Capacitive Display, Android 2.1, 5MP Camera, 720p Video
The ‘beTouch’ series are lower-end Smartphone, ‘Liquid’ series is mid-range and the Stream being the cream of the crop. We’re excited to hear of Acer bringing so many phones so quickly, especially such a large range. More news to come..
Why still Android 2.1 or less, correct me if I’m wrong but it seems to me that if you are installing many apps 2.2 is a must.
