I’m sure HTC are a little bit annoyed after finding out that Vodafone UK have axed their glasses-free 3D smartphone. Vodafone UK said to customers who registered their interest in the device and Android Community, that the HTC EVO 3D would not be stocked by them due to continued delays to its launch date. Voda also aren’t overly fussed about cancelling the EVO 3D as they said they’ve already got other great phones available such as the Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Sensation — which shares the exact same internals as the EVO 3D bar the 3D display and cameras.
Vodafone AU on the other hand aren’t cancelling the HTC EVO 3D as the only other dual-core device on their network is the Galaxy S II and they 3D as being a niche that people are interested in.
