Remember the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 that we told you is rumoured to be coming to Telstra in the near future? Well it apparently just had some blurry photos taken of it. The one to your left (larger) doesn’t seem to show any signs of being particularly different to the original Galaxy Tab, however, I think that’s Samsung’s plan behind it.

I might be wrong (and let me know in the comments) but it appears to be slightly larger, or at least wider, than the original Galaxy Tab which may suggest the screen is indeed 7.7-inches (and Super AMOLED) which is a weird size.

In the original specifications leak of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 we were told it would run Android 3.1 — well I hate to tell everyone but this device in the pictures has capactive buttons which suggests that Honeycomb will not be on it. This is the main reasoning behind me thinking this device isn’t actually the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

Anyway, I guess we’ll find out on September 1st when Samsung announces this device and more at IFA over in Berlin. I won’t lie, I’m a little excited. Another picture after the break.

this is clearly the original galaxy tab…  wider or larger might be caused by slightly skewed blurry shots…
