In an official Blog Post – HP have stated that

Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone. We do know that it will be at least a few weeks before you can purchase.

So for those of you that missed out yet are still keen to get your hands on one of the HP Touchpads, I’d recommend that you keep your eyes on the HP Blog and the Twitter account of Bryna Corcoran who is the Social Media Manager for HP to ensure you’re ready for action if the last run of Touchpads make it to Australia.

I actually get mine (32 GB Touchpad) on the Amazon for only $259 bucks 🙂

We’d more pay attention to Ebay and Amazon rather than the HP BLog :p will HP offer another $99 DEAL? Then we may consider to wait ! haha!

i wonder how reliable it is ordering from a US site? will they ship here?

looks like mobicity could be an option if people really are desperate for this thing:

    Good spot Ben,
I hadn’t seen that at the time this post was put together.I have an order outstanding (not yet cancelled) on a US site, so fingers crossed this one may get through so I can give my wife one of these delightful toys!  🙂

Actually they are not coming to Australia: “To put a finer point on things, the limited quantity of TouchPads that will be made available will only be available in the US,” a HP spokesperson told news.com.au this morning.
