Pocket Now look to have scored themselves a press render/image of the upcoming HTC One X (codename Endeavor). The device is expected to launch at Mobile World Congress alongside the One S and One V. Specs-wise the One X is looking to kick some butt:

- Android 4.0.3 w/ Sense UI 4

- 8MP / 1.3MP Cameras

If HTC play their cards right, this just might be the phone to bring them back into the black. Maybe if they partnered up with Telstra for some LTE action…

WTF is going on? Did HTC fire their phone hardware designers or something?
In saying that, I do like the idea of capacitive hardware buttons for back/home/multi task. You get the full 4.7″ screen real-estate.

the only way this phone will “bring them back into the black” is if they start getting the battery capacity right, lets hope so with this device !
So they haven’t gone with the onscreen buttons but they have left one very import button completely out of the build (the menu button). How is that going to work?
My phone 2 years ago had 1gb of ram, it makes no sense to have such a small amount of ram for a quad core processor.
For ICS, google are removing the menu button. Do some reading.
Yeah, but in pure ICS the buttons are dynamic, so if a app needs a menu button to function, it appears. Whereas those look suspiciously like hardware capacitive buttons.
Mate, how many apps do you know of that have been updated to have the menu button on screen? probably wouldn’t even make it to the thousands out of half a million. It might make sense in 2 years when devs catch up.
