We just recieved a tip that Google’s Nexus 4 bumpers are back in stock in the Play Store’s Devices section.

Once on the page, you might need to refresh a few times to make the “Add To Cart” button appear. Be sure you’re logged into your Google account.

Shipping appears to be a cool (or not-so-cool) $10.99, pushing the total bumper purchase price just north of $30. At that price you might want to consider other options – but if you need to complete your Nexus collection, now is your chance.

Are you interested in getting a Bumper? Were you able to order one? Let us know in the comments!

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. When I refresh the device page these got from In Stock to Sold Out and back and forth randomly.. GREAT! Bodes well for the Nexus 4 ‘relaunch’.

Greg McPherson

Well… soon enough 5 dollar copies of it will be for sale in those stalls at the local Westfield.

Sean Royce

Except they cost about $20-40 and you can just jump on ebay and grab one for $5 or less.

Andrew McCreadie

Got one now all i need is for the phone to back in stock ?

Greg McPherson

🙂 That’s a little sad.
You own a rubber outline of the phone you can’t buy.

Ian Tester

Just get some Sugru and form any shape you want.

Mohammad Danish

Just bought one now, still appears to be in stock. Got an email as well, no issues here.

Dave Jacka

And now I have accidentally ordered 3. Whoops. Canceled two of em. Hurry up Google and sell me a phone for my case!

Mohammad Danish

Did any of you get a shipping confirmation or anything? Mine still shows as Pending since Tuesday, on my bank account and PlayStore.

Ray

Does anyone know if that with the Bumper, does it lift the physical phone off the surface? For example, if I laid the phone on a flat surface (with the bumper on), face up or down, will the screen or back of the phone touch the surface??

Nils Mueller

Wondering the same because the phone is 9.1 mm and so is the case

Ray

I ordered one anyway – taking a chance. Once I get it I will try and remember to update this post with my findings. 🙂

Justin Harvey

There is a rubber lip much like the Iphone bumpers
Heres a video of it on the Nexus

Ray

Awesome. Thanks a lot for posting that. 🙂

Chris Spencer

Yes! Got one.Had to refresh few times….but Giddyup!

Andrew

Wanted to get one for our 2 phones but the only options are ‘0’ or ‘1’, meaning you have to pay $62 to get 2 bumpers and 2 different orders. Not happy with that at all. End up getting 1 for the missus and I’ll just hold off for now.
