In terms of Specs, the Ascend D1 Quad has a big hill to climb going up against the likes of the Nexus 4 at $399 running Jelly Bean out of the box, although the CPU has been hyped up. We’ll see if we can get our hands on the D1 Quad and test if for ourselves, until then you can check it out in JB Hi-Fi stores or on-line from today.
At least this way they won’t be locked to carriers and they can push the updates straight to the phones. I Samsung and HTC offered this by default.
