If you’re an HTC One user and a fan of the popular third party ROM Cyanogenmod, it’s time to party! Nightly builds are now available for the brand new HTC One. Nightly builds means that the team at CM have got all hardware working reliably, including:
- Wireless: both mobile and data
- Cameras
- Audio
- Wifi
- Bluetooth
The fact they’ve progressed to nightly builds also means they are confident, although the build is a “work in progress”, that you can use it as a daily driver, with some caution of course. Keep your eyes on get.cm to make sure you don’t miss the early downloads and make sure you download gapps for Cyanogenmod when you flash the ROM, otherwise you’ll have a fairly boring experience!
As always, Ausdroid advises caution when flashing ROMs to your mobile devices. Make sure you do your research, read and understand the instructions for the process, know exactly what you should expect and have all of the resources you need ready before you start the process. That being said, we’re big fans of a number of third party ROMs and are always thrilled to hear people are trying new things with their Androids.
