Samsung has just announced an event to be held in London on the 20th of June, titled “SAMSUNG PREMIERE 2013 GALAXY & ATIV” indicating Samsungs intention to show off both Galaxy and Ativ models at the event.
The Galaxy branding is of course centred around the Android Mobile OS, whereas Ativ hardware is based on Windows Phone, so we can expect devices from both stables to be announced if not released.
A possibility for the Galaxy side of things would be the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 which has been popping up in bench tests lately, showing that it could possibly be running an Intel Clovertrail CPU. Appearance in bench test sites is sometimes an indicator that it’s possibly ready to make an appearance.
The event will be streamed live out over the internet on the Samsung Mobile Youtube Channel at 7pm London time on the 20th of June, for those interested in watching it in Australia you can tune in at 4am AEST on the 21st of June.
I cant imagine they have much to really show off on the android side, Galaxy Tab 3 is about it. It will primarily an event to show off their haswell based pcs.
