An extremely witty advertisement for LG‘s incoming new superphone, the G2, focuses on the camera’s Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature.
The G2’s 13 MP autofocus snapper on the incorporates the feature, which damps the dreaded “shaky hands”, and results in consistently sharper pictures. To demonstrate why OIS is important, LG’s attached a miniature camera to Lizzy, taking advantage of a chicken’s uncanny ability to keep its head perfectly stable.
The impressive device also features Snapdragon’s top of the line S800 chipset, a 5.2 inch True HD LCD screen with 424 pixels per inch, simultaneous video (1080p at 60 frames per second) and picture recording, 2 GB RAM and a generous 3000 mAh battery.
The 16 GB G2 will be an Optus exclusive when it launches in Australia in November. In the meantime, we can be entertained by Lizzy’s adventures.
What do you think of the ad? Will you be purchasing the G2? Let us know the comments!
Nexus 5 with OIS. That’s what I’m talking about.
Me too, but osi be use full for photos?
Absolutely. OIS reduces the impact of hand movement when taking photos. The end result is sharper images.
