Samsung‘s first commercial for its Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear – called “Dreams” – is a cracker, and there are no competitors’ phones in sight. In a break from recent trends, Samsung has refreshingly devoted all of the screen time to its own products, instead of trying to poke fun at the competition.
Dreams is the story of a young lady who breathes new life into her grandfather’s fading toy store, with the help of her Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear, and a pair of creepy cool puppets.
The short film highlights the S Pen handwriting recognition of the Galaxy Note 3, the integration with the Galaxy Gear smart watch, the organisational help that the phone provides, and the video capabilities of the watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear should be available in stores on the 3rd October.
Here’s the TV cut of the commercial:
The full length version is better, though:
Will you be buying Galaxy Note 3? How about the Galaxy Gear? Let us know in the comments!
Would I buy a Samsung Note 3? No.
I would NOT reward Samsung for extortionate Australian prices, and trying to kill off global sane prices with regional SIM locking.
This was released long back :0
This ad does leave an impression, but not a REASON for people to purchase the note 3. i don’t think this ad will lure any new buyers as it is obviously not ‘real’ enough nor informative.
