Looking through The Good Guys website and Catalogue earlier yesterday in which I interestingly came across the HP Slate 21 21.5″ Android 4.2 Touch AIO All-In-One device/PC on sale for $447.

The device which seems to bear the code name S100, is the little brother of the recently announced a newer version of the Slate 21 AIO which uses the code K100.

However the Slate 21 AIO S100 still provides some decent specs given the everyday consumer thats wants a simple to use and understand all-in-one computer.

The full list of specs include:

  • 21.5″ diagonal touch screen; 16:9 widescreen IPS full HD LED backlit display
  • 72 GPU cores video graphics
  • NVIDIA Tegra Quad-Core T40S
  • 1GB DDR3-800 MHz SDRAM
  • 8 GB eMMC Flash Memory
  • Multi user capability and support
  • Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • HP TrueVision HD Webcam: 720p HD recording available
  • built in microphone
  • Android 4.2

The device seems to be available both online or at your local Good Guys store.

Would you consider buying the HP Slate 21 21.5″ AIO all-in-one device? Do you currently own this device? What are your thoughts on it or what do you like or dislike about it. We would like to hear your thoughts in the comments below

Alex, typos found.
paragraph 2 – bare the code name

paragraph 3 – descent specs

A 21.5in screen would be ok for the bedroom, I guess, but it doesn’t cut it for the workstation in the lounge room where my current wintel desktop with 27in monitor lives.

Chris

Fixed, thanks Jeni.

Have to agree a 21.5″ probably wouldn’t suit me (I, too, use a 27″) but still, I can see use for others; 21″ makes a good size for kids needs, for example.
