The Galaxy Ace line of phones has been fairly popular here in Australia where they are one of the dominant handsets in the pre-paid market. Samsung has just announced a new version of the Galaxy Ace, and instead of upping the number on the end, they’ve added a word – Style.
There’s not really anything to adding the word ‘Style’ as an affectation, Samsung has described the phone as a ‘Fun, expressive and easy-to-use smartphone designed for the social user’. It will have some style choices though, with colour at least. Samsung will make the Galaxy Ace Style available in two colours at launch – Cream White and Dark Gray.

- 4GB on-board storage with microSD Card Slot

Samsung is including a new ‘intuitive touch-user interface’ they’re calling TouchWiz Essence. It’s built over Android 4.4, which seems to be the default OS version (Finally!) for new Samsung phones coming out now.
While we haven’t heard from Samsung Australia on exact time frames for launch here in Australia, Samsung global has advised that the Galaxy Ace Style will launch this month.
