Android 4.4 KitKat introduced a fairly cool new feature for people who simply must have some things on paper, allowing direct printing from your Android device to a supported printer.
Unfortunately, most printers weren’t supported to begin with, with primarily HP printers on the list. Epson have now released an enabler app to the Play Store which will allow users to print through KitKat’s native print function. Epson says more than 60 new and legacy Epson Connect-enabled printers are compatible with the plugin, including some that were released as far back as 2008.
That’s quite a number! Of course, to make use of this function with your Epson device, you’ll need to be running Android 4.4 or higher.
