Telstra has been selling their branded handsets for a while now, and they’ve just added another to the range, introducing the ZTE built Telstra Tempo to their pre-paid lineup.
The phone is far from what you’d call top of the line, but at $79 it’s what you would call a steal. The phone comes running a very up to date Android 4.4, so it’s a great start straight out of the box. The hardware is quite basic, and includes :
- 4.0″ capacitive touch screen
- Dual core 1.0GHz CPU
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB flash memory with microSD Card slot (up to 32GB)
- 2 Mega pixel camera
- FM Radio, A-GPS and Bluetooth 3
- 3G Only
- Android 4.4
It’s a 3G only handset, but for $79, you can’t expect much more. It’s available now from the Telstra website with free delivery.
