LG L20
LG is set to announce a new handset in their low-cost L-series range of 3G phones shortly, with the LG L20 appearing on their website. The phone is set to launch at $99 from retailers AllPhones and Harvey Norman.

For those not familiar with the LG range, the LG L-Series offer competitively priced 3G handsets with some of their latest software enhancements included. The enhancements include options like Knock-Code which allows users to set a knock pattern to unlock their phone as opposed to the swipe code or pin-code options normally available on Android.

The specs are pretty far from impressive offering a basic dual-core processor with what can only be described as a miniscule screen at 3″. At $99, It’s priced pretty well for an Android 4.4 handset though.

Specs on the LG L20 include:

  • 3.0″ 320 x 240 resolution Display
  • 1.0GHz Dual-Core Processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB On-board Storage with microSD Card Slot(up to 32GB)
  • 2MP Camera
  • Wifi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 (LE), GPS, FM Radio
  • Radios:
    • 2G: 850/2100MHz
    • 3G: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  • Android 4.4.2
  • 1,540mAh Battery
  • 102.6×61.5×12.95mm

The handset shows now on the AllPhones website, but is so far missing from the Harvey Norman site. LG hasn’t officially announced the handset as yet, but we’ll see what happens.
