For those of you out there wanting a bit of Lollipop before it actually rolls out to eligible devices, you can now download a new update for Nova Launcher Beta through the Play Store.
There are new animations for opening folders which adds to the existing slide up animation from the bottom and the Lollipop scroll indicator is included along with updated icon themes for the calculator, contacts, downloads and email apps and lots more.
Here is the full list of changes:
- Lollipop Circle Folder Animation (Settings – Folder – Transition Animation)
- Lollipop Scroll indicator (Settings – Desktop – Scroll Indicator)
- Lollipop Icon Theme for Calculator, Clock, Contacts, Downloads, Email, Dialer, Settings and SMS (Settings – Look Feel – Icon Theme)
- Preview of scroll effects in Settings
- Optimizations and fixes
If you’re not already signed up for the beta you can join up here or if you have already signed up for the bet program you can just update via the play store.
For those of you not into rooting your devices and “exposing your module”, this is another way to get a taste of Lollipop before it rolls out.
