Google has made a few changes to the way its mobile search function works with an update that now brings you the latest, freshest and newest news stories around the web when you use the updated search function.
The “freshest and most relevant content” will even work for individual websites, for example, looking up Ausdroid in the updated Google search function now brings up up our recent stories with links to our podcasts and reviews.
TechCrunch also points out that this applies to keywords as well. For example, searching “startup” populates a gaggle of its latest stories or when searching “Xbox” brings back news from Xbox.com and “PS4” returns with posts from PlayStation Blog.
Google state on their blog that if your favourite website isn’t getting this treatment just yet to hold tight as more search results relating to various website, blogs etc, are on their way.
