It’s basically confirmed now, and short of hearing it from Samsung’s mouth (which we expect to in a few days), the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be unveiled at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
The phones look as shown above, and besides a few specs and key information on availability and pricing, there’s not much more you need to know. The leaked images aren’t complete, but as Android Police rightly point out, the bottom edge of the phone isn’t really all that exciting; there’s probably just a home button there.
So what do we know about this leak? The images (above) were posted on the Reddit thread linked in the source below, from a user who is recognised as a verified employee of Sprint. The image text doesn’t disclose much beyond what it says; Spring is clearly running a giveaway for existing customers who subscribe for updates on the new phones’ releases.
It could be a fake, but it doesn’t seem likely. Telco’s here in Australia sometimes go with similar marketing ploys, and we’ve definitely seem them stateside before. Plus, the imagery makes use of the somewhat-cheesy “Six Appeal” moniker that we’ve seen previously.
Is there anything that you want to see on the S6 that hasn’t already been leaked?
