Have you ever wanted to belt a phone with a hammer? Watch someone else do it!

Sometimes browsing around on YouTube is a bad idea, especially when you’re trawling for news. Sometimes you find things that are really disturbing, and make you wonder whether people have anything other than rocks in their heads.

Apparently there’s a market for extreme phone testing out there, which includes things like belting brand new, $1000+ phones with hammers, cutting them with knives, and generally being pretty awful to an expensive piece of equipment.

I found two of these videos which made me question everything. Why anyone, for video views or anything else, would find it necessary to subject a phone to such rampant disregard is beyond me, but I suppose there’s a market for just about anything these days.
