One of Oppo’s new R series phones, set to be launched at an event in Beijing on the 20th of May has been put up for pre-order on a Chinese retailers website.
The phone hasn’t officially been announced as yet, but JD.com has placed the phone up on their site for pre-order, releasing key information about the phone. The Oppo R7 will come with a 5″ FullHD display and will be powered by a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage will be included and come with a 20.7MP camera and have a 2,320mAh battery.
The Oppo R7 will come with Android 5.0 running on it, presumably with the latest version of ColorOS running on it, which Oppo recently showed off in their announcement of the release for the Find 7/7a.
The phone will sell from JD.com for US$483 – AUD$600.56 though the official RRP for the phone will be announced at the official launch, as will the larger Oppo R7 Plus which hasn’t made an appearance on the site as yet.
Oppo Australia has already announced we’ll see both the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus here in Australia in the months after the official launch on the 20th of May.
