Cortana beta 2 Headder
After the Alpha version of the software leaked last month, Microsoft was quick to announce a public trial was coming soon, and soon is today, with Microsoft releasing the Android version of their digital assistant Cortana publicly to Google Play.

The app is now available for Android users to download and install on their phone, as well as make it their digital assistant of choice if they so wish. The app is available for Windows 10 users, and features quite a number of useful features:

The Cortana app can do most of the things Cortana does on your PC or on a Windows phone. With the app, you can manage your hectic lifestyle by setting and getting reminders, searching the web on-the-go, tracking important information such as flight details as well as starting and completing tasks across all of your devices.

The app has been updated significantly since the first private Beta, though features such as the ‘Hey Cortana’ hotword remains a Windows feature. The experience will be better on Windows Phone, at least that’s the impression Microsoft wants to give, but if you like your Android apps, then this is a pretty good compromise.

Availability of the app has been limited to the US officially,

If you have a US account, you’ll be able to officially join the beta here, with Microsoft limiting the availability to the US only for now. But what’s a little region restriction between friends? So here’s the APK Download:
