Over the past few weeks we have seen many leaks of the 2015 version of the Moto 360 Android Wear smartwatch. Today, courtesy of new prolific leaker, @Upleaks, there is evidence of a sports version of the new Motorola smartwatch.
In what appear to be official renders from Motorola, the different variations of the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) are shown, displaying a plastic-type watchband version aimed at the fitness oriented customer. Coined the Moto 360 Sport the watch shows the same display as the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) which fits into this plastic band much the same way the Sony Smartwatch 3 does. There also appears to be a new fitness app from possibly Motorola displayed on the watch which is a welcome addition as fitness apps are currently lacking in the Android Wear space.

With IFA 2015 this coming week we hopefully won’t have to wait very long to see this in the flesh. We have Dan and Jason on the ground in Germany to bring you all the breaking news as it comes to light so stay tuned to Ausdroid if this interests you.
Please let it be waterproof, and with a strong band.
