Snapchat, the time-sensitive social sharing platform that’s popular with lots of users slightly younger than myself, has announced a new set of lenses are going on sale as in-app purchases with a price of $1.49 each.
Lenses (or filters for those of us who use Instagram) were added to Snapchat a few months ago and are intended as a way to add a bit more fun to the platform.
Unlike the option to purchase replays of “Snaps” received (US$0.99c for 3 replays), each lens is a permanent feature on your Snapchat account once purchased, so you can use it again and again.
