Aldi will be getting their beach bodies ready from tomorrow with a new range of fitness equipment going on-sale in Aldi stores from tomorrow.
Aldi has partnered with The Bachelor and fitness fanatic Tim Robards for the launch of the new range which includes a range of Crane branded fitness products which includes an Eliptical and rowing machines, as well as kettle bells, dumbells, weight vests and more.
Of course having Tim Robards involved is a bit of a hat tip to The Bachelor fans out there, but since the show aired, he has made a name for himself as somewhat of a fitness guru. Of the sale, Tim says
I’m excited to launch ALDI’s latest fitness Special Buys that feature a huge range of high-quality products without the associated price tag. I’ve used a variety of these items to create a quick full body living room workout as a way to show that it’s possible to keep fit on a limited budget.
On the tech side of things, a sports watch with heart rate monitor will go on-sale for $49.99, as will a Crane branded connected Bluetooth Smart Digital Scale, also selling for $49.99. The scale will record and gather eight body metrics including:
– Weight
– Fat percentage
– Water percentage
– Muscle percentage
– Bone mass
– Body mass index
– Basal metabolic rate (calories burned in hibernation)
– Active metabolic rate (calories burned in a normal
The scale will support up to eight users, then pairing with a smartphone app via Bluetooth to sync the data.
The Crane Connect app is the brains here, which is available in both the Apple app store and Google Play, supporting iOS devices such as th iPhone 4s upwards, iPads from 3rd generation upwards, iPad Mini from 1st generation and Android devices running Android 4.3 and above.
The data from the scale will be synced with the Crane Connect App, with data then uploaded to the Crane Sports Connect Website. This backup means data won’t be lost when your smartphone is replaced or lost. Aldi also says that the data is stored on an external network and can be downloaded (password protected) from the internet to any device.
