Samsung is set to revamp their wearables lineup, with at least two new devices, the Gear Fit 2 Pro and the Samsung Gear Sport showing up at both the FCC and in the case of the Gear Fit 2 Pro, on their own site.

The company has a new Gear Fit model coming down the line with the Gear Fit 2 Pro appearing at the FCC, and now on Samsung Australia’s own support website. The support site still lists the SM-R365, the model it will be known by when it launches:

According to the FCC filing, the Gear Fit 2 Pro will have single-band Wi-Fi b/g/n as well as Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, it will also have as you’d expect for a fitness device an optical heart rate monitor. The fact that the support docs are on the Australian Samsung site says we’ll likely be seeing this here soon.

The FCC has also shown the Samsung Gear Sport, a new model in the Gear range. The design of the device points more towards a watch than a fitness band like the Gear Fit series. Like the Gear Fit 2 Pro it also will have Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth Low Energy wireless connections, and as per the design, a heart rate monitor:

When we will see these devices is anyones guess. Samsung ‘notably’ has an event coming up on August 23rd, and with IFA just a couple of weeks away we could see something there as well.
