With less than 24 hours until the second Made by Google Event in San Francisco, Google’s treasured announcements continue to leak out. Today we’ve got another look at the Google Home Mini thanks to an early listing on Walmarts website (now pulled). What did we learn new? Pricing, the device size and confirmation of its official name.

The Google Home Mini as we can now confirm it is named will cost $49 USD, which if you multiply by how much more the Google Home costs in Australia compared to the USA model should bring it in at around $75 AUD including GST give or take a few dollars.

At that price I can see one popping up in my bathroom, office at work and maybe a few other locations…. The Home Mini measures in at 11.5 x 11.5 x 12 cm, making it much taller than it actually looks in the images if those measurements are indeed correct. Could those be the measurements of the packaging?

Taking a close look at the images pulled of the listing you can see the simple speaker with the Google Assistant dots screen printed on the fabric top a toggle switch, to turn always listening on or off, and what disappointingly looks to be a micro USB – that’s a standards fail right there Google why to keep finding ways to fragment your product offerings.

Another bonus in the listing was an image of the White Pixel XL 2 which brings back the much loved or hated Panda phone to Google’s line up. Check it out below in all of the black and white Panda goodness.

With the event only 19 hours away we wonder how much more can leak out before the official announcement?
