Twitter is still seemingly searching for that one feature that will launch it to the stratospheric heights of Facebook and their latest effort is showing you what’s Happening Now.

The feature is a sports-centric update that Twitter announced overnight, which will start appearing in US Twitter users feeds. Twitters ‘Happening Now’ will start showing you events and topics they think you might be interested in at the top of your feed when you open your Twitter app. If you see something you like, tap the photo to see more information, including conversations around that event.

The update is coming to both Android and iOS, but as a US-only feature you won’t be seeing it here in Australia for a while, in fact Twitter has no date for rollout to the rest of the world.
