After a brief pre-registration period, the surrealist sequel to puzzle game Monument Valley has landed on Google Play for $7.99.
The game is a completely separate story from the original Monument Valley, though set in the same surreal universe. This time around, the main characters are Ro and her daughter. The game features more of the original and clever puzzles found in the original for you to work out in order to guide the characters through.
The trailer shows a number of the puzzles in action, as well as that original and stunning visual style:
The game does require a minimum of Android 4.4 to run, but according to last months Android distribution figures that’s around 92.2% of Google Android devices out there, that shouldn’t be a problem for most people.
If you’re keen to get into Monument Valley 2 you can head over to Google Play right now.
I loved the first. There are too many comments regarding how short and more importantly, how easy the second is though. I’m not prepared to drop $8 on a game for enhanced visuals. One would expect the same, if not better game play.
