Google has announced that Assistant is about to get improved localised support, offering more information about local services and trades people.

Asking Assistant to find you an electrician, plumber, house cleaner and more through your Android or Apple phone, or Google Assistant powered speaker will prompt the Assistant to ask you a bit more information to more clearly narrow down a compatible answer.

Google, as well as HomeAdvisor and Porch have pre-screened some businesses in selected cities, to ensure you get some good service people. In cities without pre-screened businesses, Google Assistant will still suggest local tradies for the job.

Unfortunately this is a US-only service, with Google making no mention of any further rollouts. We can only hope it might arrive here.

My cars head-unit (Essentially it’s a modified android tablet), just today, listened to the ‘Ok google’ command and reacted.
Now, to try and modify the command! any idea how to do that?
