LG, like many manufacturers, usually release two flagships a year and this year will be no different with the V40 ThinQ set to be released in the coming weeks. We have seen it pass through the FCC, CAD renders and blurry renders show up but today we have seen a perfect quality render appear.
Everyone’s favourite, most accurate leaker, Evan Blass has today Tweeted out what appears to be an official render of the LG V40 ThinQ. While the render is for the AT&T version you can be fairly sure that the version that we will see (assuming it arrives here and we have every reason to believe it will) will be extremely similar, minus the AT&T branding in the status bar of course.

The renders match those that we have seen previously and thus we believe these to be legitimate. There are the three rear facing cameras and another two on the front. The circular fingerprint sensor is present in the middle of the rear of the phone, just above the V40 ThinQ branding. There is apparently a notch on this phone according to previous leaks but LG have done a great job of hiding it in their official renders – we are assuming that the ATT branding is in the status bar beside the notch.
The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to be announced next week in Korea and will hopefully lead the LG mobile division in the right direction. It will be interesting to see how they go implementing their three camera setup — if it is anywhere near as good as the Huawei P20 Pro triple camera system then LG could be onto something.
