Residents of the city of Orange in NSW who are members of the Orange Credit Union are now able to enjoy the benefits of Google Pay, after the bank launched the service this month.
Launched on October 1st, Orange Credit Union members can now add their Visa Debit Card to Google Pay. Google Pay can be used as Tap & Pay at NFC enabled EFTPOS terminals at retail, as well as online in apps and on the web.
As usual, setup for Google Pay is easy, simply download the app, setup the card and start tapping. Orange also note, as usual, that transactions over $100 will require you to enter your PIN at the terminal.
New users on Google Pay can take advantage of the current Google Pay promotion offering a $10 Google Play voucher. To qualify, users need to simply sign up with an eligible card and use it five times (max one payment per day) within 30 days before the 31st of December.
