Jaybird, a well known name in bluetooth headphones have really ramped up their model releases of late, this time announcing a new set of sporty wireless headphones offering up to 14-hour battery life.

The Tarah Pro headphones are a more premium product for Jaybird, which they say are the first in their new Pro Series, a new line of what they desscribe as ‘pinnacle-level wireless sport headphones for endurance athletes’.

The Tarah Pro certainly offers top of the line specs with a claimed 14-hour battery life a big jump over the six hour on Jaybirds Tarah series, or the 8 hours from Jaybirds X4 headphones. Even with a larger battery capacity, the headphones are lightweight though weighing in at just 20 grams and should be comfortable with three different sized silicone ear tips/fins included for a customised comfortable, secure fit.

In terms of sound quality, the Jaybird Tarah Pro comes with 6mm drivers capable of delivering up to 12mW RMS output.

The sporty headphones come with an IPX7 rating meaning they’re both water and sweat proof, survive accidental submersion down to one meter for up to 30 minutes as well as the usual inclement weather conditions you come across when training like rain or snow.

Jaybird will be selling the Tarah Pro in ‘Black Flash’ and ‘Mineral Blue-Jade’ colour options from their website and while they have no AUD pricing, they’re expected to sell for $160 in the US.
