Rumours and leaks have strongly pointed towards Huawei launching their next powerhouse in Paris (again) in late March. Today via their social media channels Huawei have announced that the P30 will indeed be announced in Paris and it will occur on the 26th March.
With the hashtag #rewritetherules Huawei have announced that the entire P30 series will be announced at the same city as the P20 was released last year — and what better city to demonstrate their best-in-class camera.
We have seen a lot of rumours surrounding the P30 phones and yet still it is not clear what we expect to see in the P30 or the P30 Pro. We do expect the latest Kirin processor with AI onboard, a triple rear camera but the leaked render suggests just a single front-facing camera on the Pro version. As is standard in flagships these days, the P30 is expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor just as the Mate 20 did.
With the hashtag of #rewritetherules you can bet that Huawei will have something else up their sleeves. We are expecting some form of optical zoom in the camera — will they bring a 5x or even a 10x optical zoom to the P30 line?

Ausdroid are massive fans of the Huawei phones and how far they have come since the early days of their existence and EMUI. Their cameras are amazing and who doesn’t love a great camera on their phone? We will be paying close attention to see if Huawei can once again innovate and improve on their already great phones.
