Google I/O starts in under two months and today Google have released a small preview of what to expect in its schedule when the full one arrives next week.
As signaled at GDC 2019, Google will have a good chunk of the I/O conference dedicated to Gaming helping developers to help developers learn solutions to “performance pitfalls”. This include not just phone speed optimisation but also battery usage and heat issues.
To help developers easily create apps for both iOS and Android Google are also have a a large portion of the conference devoted to Flutter, “an open source SDK for creating high-performance, high-fidelity mobile apps for iOS and Android”. They will include a demonstration that will show live coding of an app using Flutter’s newest features and how to use Dart, a large part of Flutter’s source.
Along with these two, Google will focus on securing your apps with Google Cloud, how to focus AI products to “human-centred”, and also show off what’s new with Chrome and the Web.
The full schedule will be available next week on the 27th of March to allow developers to plan their entire conference down to the minute. All you the non-developers eyes will of course be focused on the keynote speech which often showcases the future of Android and other Google products for the coming year or two.
We are hoping to be bringing I/O to you live from the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View so stay tuned to Ausdroid for all the relevant information you could hope for.
