The countdown is on to Google I/O with it beginning in just a few short weeks time. Google as such are padding out the content to their developer’s conference and have just added some more content covering a wide variety of topics.

Over on their events page Google have listed some new sessions with something for everyone. Google have added sessions for those game developers looking make their games work on Chrome OS as well as using audio programming on Chrome OS and Android.

There is also a session for developers to explain how to incorporate and work with the new Android Q privacy requirements with their apps along with a session to “learn about changes to Android performance in Android Q. Of course as you know Android Q brings a system-wide dark theme for users to help save battery life (plus many think it looks better) and Google are including a session to help developers design dark themes for their apps.

Some of the better snippets of information at Google I/O often come from the fireside chats and Google have added a few of those include one with Geoffrey Hinton a deep learning engineering at Google and one with Hiroshi Lockheimer, SVP at Google.

Once again Ausdroid will be present at Google I/O and are looking forward to not only bringing you all the information from as many sessions as possible along with a lot of hands on and one on one chats with Google engineers. Stay tuned as we try to find out all we can regarding Google’s plans for Australia in the next 12 months.
