With Google adding dark theme to many apps in recent days, and the Android Q beta showing development of a system wide dark theme coming it all seems to add up to one thing, Dark Mode is coming.
The latest app to get Google dark treatment is Google Calculator, and like many things, it looks pretty good in its dark coloured clothes.
The update is consistent with other recent implementations of dark mode with options for light mode, dark mode and set by battery saver. When the new dark mode theme option rolls out, we’d expect that last option to change to set by system or theme, or at least something similar.
