Fitbit’s new app interface is gradually rolling out on Android. While it’s not a major overhaul, the interface has consolidated the old five tabs into just three – Today, Discover, and Community.
Today shows actively monitored information like heart rate, sleep tracking, and other tracking info like calorie and water intake. Steps and activity are also in this tab.
Discover surfaces more in-depth data, as well as launching challenges and beginning workouts.
Lastly, Community is the same as always, with friends, groups and your feed contained within.
Notifications have been moved to the top right of the Today tab, while your profile and devices are on the top left.
The new interface is server-sided, so there won’t necessarily be an app update specifically for it. Reports say the new interface has appeared on version 2.95 and 3.0 alike.
