Way back in September Samsung announced the Galaxy A90 5G phone designed to be a more affordable phone with high level photography and 5G connectivity for one the go sharing — “the new era of live”. Now it is available in Australia.
In an announcement Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy A90 5G is now available through Samsung channels, Telstra, Optus and selected retailers for RRP $1,049.
Telstra have told Ausdroid that the Galaxy A90 5G is available in Telstra Stores and online as of now outright and on a plan.
Minimum Cost $1049 plus your chosen plan costs. That is device repayments of $43.70 per month with a 24 month contract or $29.13 per month with a 36 month contract.
The Galaxy A90 5G houses a Snapdragon 855 chipset along with a massive 6.7 inch 1080P super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The camera chops are decent with a triple rear camera housing a main 48MP lens, a depth camera and a 123 degree wide-angled camera. The selfie camera is a whopping 32MP — this is the “new age of live”.
Add in either 6GB or 8GB of RAM to the 128GB on on-board storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 4,500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging and you have a device with some pretty high end specs.
It is about time we started seeing some more affordable 5G devices and this is one that seems to be a great device. Hopefully we manage to get one in hand soon to put it through its paces. In the meantime head into a Telstra or Optus store and check it out.
