We’ve previously had opportunity to review the Zenscreen touch by Asus which proved to be a winner with Chris. The update announced by Asus at CES delivers even better portability and usability to users.
Let’s start with the basics, if it’s portable it has to be light. The new Zenscreen weighs in at barely over 700 grams. But that’s not where the improvements stop for the 15.6-inch 1080p screen. The improvement makes the updated version not only light but thin at 8mm.
Like it’s predecessor, the Zenscreen can be used in either portrait or landscape modes making it very useful for reading documents while completing other work on a laptop or compatible tablet. Included features also make it an ideal companion for longer usage.
The ZenScreen MB16ACE features an anti-glare IPS panel that is TUV Rheinland-certified for flicker-free operation at any brightness level. The MB16ACE’s low blue light technology also reduces eye strain for longer work sessions.
You can connect via either USB-C or USB 3.0 keeping the connectivity broad enough to suit most source devices.
We’ll be keeping in touch with Asus about the local pricing and availability and will post an update when we have further information.
