Telstra’s own-branded Tough Max series phones have had an update for 2020, with the 3rd generation Tough Max getting some attention on Telstra’s Exchange blog today.

The Tough Max line is designed to take the hard knocks, and in its latest incarnation, the phone comes with IP68 water resistance, a huge battery and all the modern features users expect in 2020 – fingerprint unlock, USB-C charging and NFC for smart payments.

For $499 outright, the Tough Max 3 can also be bought on 24 and 36 months plans which we’ve got set out below:

Customers who buy before 30 March 2020 can go in the running to win an Isuzu D-Max utility valued at $51,990 as well – sweet deal. For full details of this competition, head over to Telstra Exchange.

A tough phone with a phone ute as a bonus prize, sounds like a great deal to me. If you’re in the market for something designed to handle a beating, and not wanting to spend a fortune on it, this is one well worth your checking out.
