Huawei may not be able to release any new smartphones with Google apps on them but they are certainly allowed to continue to support those already on the market and they are doing just that with the latest version of EMUI rolling out already.
In a statement released today Huawei have announced the rollout of EMUI10 stable to their devices already on the market. EMUI10 brings with it Android 10 as a base along with all the Android 10 goodies such as Dark Mode and the host of under the hood changes.
With EMUI10 Huawei have updated their interface with different colour palettes app icons and more. The new camera app brings with it a more simple design with most things bigger, easier to find and easier to use. There are new smoother animations with animations more natural responding to swipes in the same direction as the swipe.
EMUI10 is rolling out to P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X (4G), and nova 5T this month with it coming to older devices such as the Mate 20 Lite and nova 4 in “coming months”.
If you have a device set to receive EMUI10 as slated above you can check out what it will bring from Huawei’s website. Hopefully Huawei will be able to go back to releasing new phones with it on it very soon.
