This morning Google Developers released their usual puzzle that had to be solved to find out the dates for Google I/O. This year it was a collaborative puzzle which required a lot of people to solve it before the dates were released and true to form it did not take long.

After the puzzle was solved this morning the date for Google I/O 2020 was revealed to be Tuesday May 12th through Thursday May 14th. Not surprising of course given that Google I/O has been in the first couple of weeks of May for the last few years.

The location of Google I/O was not revealed in the image but we assume it will be the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View given that it is next door to the Google main campus and allows easy access for Googlers.

Ticketing for the event is not open yet and is expected to come later but if you are not a developer I wouldn’t bother given the pricing over the thousand dollar mark.

Google is expected to announce a new version of Android 11 Beta along with the Pixel 4a and possibly the Pixel buds at Google I/O. We look forward to getting boots on the ground over there again this year to bring you all the news and hands on as it happens.
