In the past few years, OEMs have been bringing a new line of Ultra-Premium devices to market. These phones represent the very best those companies have to offer and traditionally give users that cutting edge feel, for a premium price tag.
The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra perfectly fits that description, with Samsung packing in the best the company has, including the very first integration of an optional S-pen into the Galaxy S line of devices, a true turning point for the line. Of course, no Ultra Premium device would be complete without superior camera performance and the S21 Ultra promises to deliver.
That’s paired with either 128/256GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM or 512 GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. However you look at the S21 Ultra line, I think it will have power to spare. Speaking of power this is all supported by a 5000mAh battery, USB C PD 3.0 fast charging and Qi Fast Charging 2.0 with reverse charging too.
Camera-wise Samsung has included a rear Quad camera set up including an Ultra wide 12MP f/2.2 lens, Wide angle 108MP f/1.8 lens, x3 optical zoom Telephoto 10MP f/2.4 lens and an x10 optical zoom Telephoto 10MP f/4.9 lens. Around the front is a 40MP 7/2.2 80 degrees field of view selfie camera.
Connectivity-wise the S21 Ultra includes WiFi 6E, Dualband Bluetooth 5, NFC and GPS. Of course, it comes with 5G including both Sub 6 and mmWave frequencies. Samsung has also included Ultra-Wide Band allowing for unlocking ‘future cars’ and ultra-precise object tracking for Samsung UWB trackers which are coming soon too.
Security features include in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Samsung Knox and face recognition. All of this is running on top of Android 11 with Samsung’s latest One UI. The Samsung S21 Ultra will come in Black, and Silver through regular channels and additional colours will be available exclusively on samsung.com including Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy and Phantom Brown.

At the beginning of 2021 we’re not sure you could want anything more in a smartphone that is realistic. While a COVID-19 repelling 5G field would be nice, that may not actually be a thing. Just wear a mask.
