Griffin have today launched a range of cases for the S6, from the Survivor All-Terrain, one of the most heavy-duty cases for a phone today, through to their more stylish (and less bulky) options such as the Survivor Core and Reveal.
Priced between $24.99 for the Reveal and $59.95 for the Survivor All-Terrain, these cases are going to be quite competitive. Here’s the information about each of the members of the range:
Survivor All-Terrain
This case is designed and rigorously tested to guard against whatever the day has in store. It can cope with challenges including 6.6 foot drops, dust, sand, rain, impacts, vibration, and a host of other environmental factors. The device is a four-layer construction, including a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in shock-absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector snaps on to seal the phone’s touchscreen from the outside environment, while hinged plugs seal the dock connector, headphone port, power button and volume controls when not in use.
Survivor Core
For users who want protection without bulk, Survivor Core’s one-piece hybrid design combines minimalist good looks with 6.6 foot drop protection, and fits easily into pocket or purse. Its shatter-resistant polycarbonate shell protects the back of Galaxy S6, and TPE surrounds the sides and corners of the phone to protect from chips, nicks and scratches. Survivor Core is custom moulded for a precise fit, with a port for the Galaxy S6’s back camera and open ports for easy access to connectors and controls.
Reveal
Griffin’s Reveal is an ultra-thin case with a sleek design that lets the beauty of the Galaxy S6 shine through even as it provides 3 foot drop protection. A little over a millimetre in thickness, Reveal’s one-piece polycarbonate shell is bonded to slim rubber edges that cushion and grip the Galaxy S6, while allowing access to screen, controls and ports.
