Two new pieces of hardware have been released to the Aussie market by HyperX, focussed on gamers and streamers.
The HyperX Cloud II Wireless gaming headset – $299.00
The next step from previous, wired iterations of the Cloud gaming headsets you’re getting a comfy, durable headset with the convenience of wireless connectivity. The cardioid noise cancelling microphone will do a good job of removing much of the background noise for your streams and games.
From a sound perspective, the Cloud II Wireless headset offers users a custom-tuned virtual 7.1 surround sound experience and a depth of sound through the 53mm drivers. The battery will deliver for up to 30 hours and across a range of up to 20 meters, with simple touch controls on the earcups to keep your mind and hands on the action for longer whether your weapon of choice is PC, Console or Nintendo Swtich.
SoloCast USB Microphone – $109.00
The SoloCast USB microphone becomes part of the range of microphones offered by HyperX. Aimed at users starting their streaming, podcasting or “general recording” journey, it won’t break the bank but will give you significantly better sound than a headset.
We are excited to expand our USB microphone line with the addition of HyperX SoloCast, we are always looking for new ways to deliver an amazing user experience, expanding our USB microphone lineup with our new SoloCast brings a different option to streamers and content creators.
Again offering a cardioid pattern to minimise background noises, the microphone sensitivity will capture voice quality worthy of broadcasting. The adjustable stand giving you the option to slide your mic into your workspace wherever you need it to fit, without making a huge sacrifice. If you’re steadily upgrading your recording setup, the 3/8” and 5/8” thread sizes mean the mic is compatible with most stands and boom arms, giving you upgradability in the future.
